Class Descriptions
Vinyasa/Power Flow A flowing, movement-based style of yoga, Vinyasa flow links yoga poses with the breath for a vigorous practice and sweet, rewarding savanasa! We’ll also incorporate some static postures to focus on the alignment within the posture, and to help yogis learn to find comfort and stillness during challenging moments. Most Vinyasa classes are designed to accommodate students of all levels. Power Flow classes follow a similar format, but the pace is quicker and we may move into more challenging peak poses.
Barefoot Bootcamp & Contemporary Core These classes blend the best of yoga, pilates, barre, and classic bodyweight calisthenics. We will move, flow, and sweat, but no shoes needed, and minimal equipment is required--just your body and a mat! Appropriate (and challenging) for all levels. Contemporary Core draws more from Pilates traditions; Barefoot Bootcamp will make barre enthusiasts feel right at home.
EBC Hot Yoga This class contains a signature sequence of yoga postures designed to create heat within the body as you work to balance the 8 vital energy centers along the spine. Hot Yoga is an excellent for improving alignment, strength, flexibility, balance and concentration. Prior yoga experience recommended. Post-COVID19, classes are unheated until further notice.
Alive A candlelit, vinyasa-inspired, flow set to an expertly crafted playlist, turned up loud to help you feel all the feels. Expect strong poses, long holds, and thoughtfully slow transitions. Each class will include intentional breathwork and soulful guidance to help you go beyond the mind and come alive within. Alive is designed to awaken your soul while also challenging your body. All levels welcome, however, we recommend starting with Rooted if you are new to the yoga practice. Class is heated to a warm 80-85 degrees unless noted in the schedule.
Hi-Def 45 minute hot yoga-inspired Studio Three fitness class with weights and resistance bands (98 – 100 degrees). Sweat out your day and build lean muscle in this intense, strength-based practice set to bass-thumping beats. Challenge yourself with both weights and resistance bands for a complete body workout. Offered at two different levels to meet all fitness abilities, this is where inclusiveness meets intensity.
3x3 This moderate heat (82-84 degrees) all-levels weights format at Studio Three is designed to increase strength and build endurance. A short, dynamic-movement based warm up prepares you for thirty minutes of intense weight work, and we finish with a quick cool-down.
